This program is for our horse enthusiasts aged approximately 9-15

Welcome to Equi-Crew!

This program will have a more in-depth approach to the fundamentals of horsemanship, horse care, handing and knowledge. Through our structured, level-based program, our members will work their way through progressive horsemanship skills earning merit badge mementos along the way as they master topics such as grooming, groundwork, equine behaviour, anatomy, nutrition, braiding, horse breeds, markings, stable management, first aid and more.

This program is especially great if you’re interested in our Riding Academy, as well as future horse leasing and ownership, as we will cover so many important fundamentals about interacting, caring and providing for our equines.

Kids will gain valuable life skills, make lifelong friendships and develop a healthy sense of self-worth and accomplishment through this program!

Our program follows The Equestrian Canada Level program and branches beyond to cover many interesting and informative topics!

The learning is very hands on and fun, while also educational.

The Equi Crew program runs year-round with some holiday breaks.

We will have special guests seasonally to come in and give demonstrations about braiding, veterinary care, dental, farriery and more. Additionally, we have field trips planned for special outings as well to deepen our knowledge and experiences with horses.

No previous horse experience is required for this program.
