PAINTED PONIES

This section of The Equestrian Club program is catered to our youngest horse enthusiasts (5-11 years old)

Welcome to Painted Ponies!

We have developed a series of ground work horsemanship levels for children to explore the world of horsemanship, pony care and handling, through hands on activities and creative crafts all while learning valuable life skills such as responsibility, leadership, confidence, empathy and team work. This is a great program for our members who are already involved in our riding academy, or who wish to experience horses in a different way.

We will expand our learning seasonally to learn about our other farm animals, raising them, gardening and growing for them and more.

Spending time outside with horses offers kids a chance to unplug, breathe fresh air, and engage in meaningful hands-on experiences that support both physical and emotional well being. They will love our painted ponies!

The program runs in 8 week intervals (8 sessions per interval) beginning in the fall of each calendar year.

September/October
November/December (prior to winter break)
January/February (winter break, no sessions)
March/April
May/June
July/August (summer break, no sessions)

Each session is 1 hour long and will run on weekdays after school; please inquire for schedule availability.

Private times for homeschool programs or other clubs are available as well - send us a message.

No horse experience is required! Each week we will work on exciting new topics, working toward merit badges so that our painted pony club members have goals to work towards and mementos to take home and cherish!
