RIDING ACADEMY LESSONS
English riding lessons
Our riding academy is suited to new and experienced riders who would like to have the use of a lesson horse. We offer English horseback riding lessons to both kids and adults (ages 5+). We teach Monday-Friday after school, with some day time availability for mature riders and home school students. Our weekends are filled with lessons as well as horse shows/team building activities.
Riders who lease or own their own horse graduate to our Hunter Jumper Program.

Our 45-minute small group lessons give riders hands-on experience learning to groom, tack up, and ride under the guidance of knowledgeable instructors.

Our horseback riding lesson program offers comprehensive instruction tailored to riders of all levels, using our experienced and well-trained lesson horses.
Each lesson focuses on building strong foundations in flatwork, including balance, position, control, and effective communication with the horse. As riders progress, they have the opportunity to advance toward more technical skills such as riding over ground poles and small jumps.
Our program emphasizes safety, horsemanship, and confidence- building in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Students who are a part of the Riding Academy have access to use of a lesson horse during their lessons.

Theory lessons
Our 45 minute theory lessons can be taken individually or in a group. Our theory lesson topics are informative and fun. Theory lessons are a great way for newer riders to gain confidence on the ground around horses before advancing in the saddle. Theory lessons are also good for riders who want to further their knowledge about horses, and horse care. In the event that riding is not permitted, lessons will be substituted with a theory lesson. Our theory lessons prepare riders for horse leasing/ownership. We follow the practices as laid out by Equine Canada, and our lessons help to prepare riders to test for the EC Rider Level Program which also offers high school credits.
